A Menace

Somehow we missed this fall debut from the UK’s Mongrel but we are really feeling it. One part hip hop and one part indie rock, Mongrel cites Public Enemy and the late the political punk band Crass as influences. They are made up of MC Lowkey ex Arctic Monkeys and Babyshambles members and amongst others it also features MC Pariz-1 who definitely kills it every chance she gets. Last but not least the album is mixed and dubbed by ultra famous producer Adrian Sherwood …..hmmmm can’t wait to hear more.
